Work & Experience
Primarily responsible for evaluation and providing resolutions to airframe and system related issues/problems (landing gear, pneumatic, hydraulic and flight controls etc..) towards maintaining the serviceability of Lockheed Martin C130 & L100, CASA CN- 235, CASA C-295 and Boeing C17. Evaluated and provided structural solutions related to Engine Thrust Reverser repairs and developed a Pylon Hinge Alignment Gage/Tool to support replacement of the Pylon Hinges. Provide Engineering support for the damage recovery of the aircraft by issuing repair orders and statement of work (SOW) detailing the step by step repair process. Resolved a major feel wide fuel leak issue from Pressure Relief Valve on C-295 aircrafts to maintain the platform serviceability and availability for the customer (UAE AF). Liaise with OEM’s, manufacturers and vendors relating to technical matters for all aircraft systems (structural, pneumatic, hydraulic and flight controls). Design and develop outside SRM Structural repairs for C130, L100, C-295 & CN235 aircrafts and submit to the OEM, seek their approval. Assist and guide maintenance operations (technicians) with repair procedure and alternate solutions. Performed detail Structural (airframe) inspections and Systems functional checks of Bombardier Challenger 650 aircrafts for the acceptance by UAEAF from AQUILA Aerospace. Performed assessment of structures and system related TCTO, SB, SIL and AD’s and provide engineering support during implementation phase. Responsible for preparation of technical documents (SOW, EO, RO, EREP & EI) as requested by management/internal and external stake holders.

Focal point of contact for structural and Airframe engineering issues and responsible for disposition of RFI/EREQ (request for Information/ Engineering request) raised by operations, first line, back shops, PMO, commercial and SCM. Evaluate structural damage, design repair for damaged aircraft structures using Auto-Cad and seek NTO. Design the out of SRM repairs and communicate with OEM for approval. Prepare the repair worksheet/work orders and guide technicians during the repair process. Technical evaluation of Aircraft manufacturers/Vendors service related to Structural repair and modification including AD’s and SB’s for incorporation on applicable fleet. Developed technical reports such as SOW, Engineering report, Engineering instructions, Paint scheme, CPCP program, SDR Structural damage reports, Dent and buckle charts for UAEAF aircrafts, provide technical assistance & support aircraft structural repair and maintenance by documenting/coordinating with OEM and liaising with OEM as necessary to resolve technical issues/queries. Provide onsite support to carryout C130, L100 and CN235 PDM including repair/replacement of Sloping longeron, Truss mount replacement, Chine plates, Chine angles, wing joint fittings, corner fittings, MLG beams and flight controls. Provide Engineering support to Estimation team by evaluation/feasibility analysis for Aircraft Modification and recovery Proposals (SOW – Statement of Work) Evaluate and recommend alternative material, fasteners and procedures to support scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance activities. Establishing and monitoring of Assembly Operation Sheets, Bill of Materials and timely generation of necessary documentation for manufacturing and reworks of aircraft major assemblies and sub-assemblies. Responsible for preparation and review of AOS (assembly operation sheets) ROS (rework operation sheets) & MOS (manufacturing operation sheets) by referring to engineering drawings, blue prints and specifications in simplified manner which enables operator perform daily task. Core member of CRB (change review board)-from process & standard tooling for Subcontract change letters & design change request. Resolve engineering-related production problems/shop floor queries on a regular basis. Responsible for selection and management of Hand & Cutting Tool and implementation of improved tools to enhance productivity & reduce cycle time. Responsible for Engineering and Aircraft tooling functions for major structural assemblies of C130J super Hercules and complete cabin assembly of Sikorsky S92 helicopter. Synchronizing with the respective teams for designing & manufacturing of Aircraft assembly jigs & fixtures. Core member for carrying out FAI and accordingly resolve supplier queries being a part of producibility board. Spearheaded the implementation of Kaizen, 5S and gained sound exposure towards Lockheed Martin Aeronautical Standards.
