Job Description
Working for the British Airways Part-147 training school here at Heathrow, you will be accountable for the design, development and delivery and evaluation of aircraft maintenance theory and practical training, for British Airways’ apprentices and engineers, as well as external customers.
You will carry out training needs analysis, design and update training material, develop lesson plans and deliver training for a selection of Category A & B level Part-66 Modules, Part-66 B1 & B2 Aircraft Type courses, Part-145 and Part-M subjects. You will be working in a highly regulated and safety conscious environment, and as such, everything you do will be to the highest standard and always in compliance with company procedures and applicable regulations.
Ideally the successful candidate will already have experience of developing and delivering aircraft maintenance training in a Part-147 training organisation. Experienced Part-66 licenced engineers with a passion for passing on their experience and knowledge, or those with transferable instructing or teaching experience at A-level/HNC or above, will also be considered. Support and development will be offered if you are successful.
You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills with an English language proficiency at B2 level or higher as defined by the Common European Framework of Reference for Language (CEFR).
You will be a teammate, culturally aware and have a ‘can do’ attitude. You will have a digital mentality and be proficient in the use of the main Microsoft applications and in the use of online meeting and social platforms.
