Purpose of the position:

  • AOG Desk Manager will be responsible to manage recovery of AOG situations, take immediate actions and if required present different options to solve all material, regulatory or manpower related problems in a quick and cost effective manner. AOG Desk Manager also ensure material availability of MEL related spare part and furthermore of the common parts by a constant stock review on all maintenance stations. 

Place in the organization:

  • Aog Desk Manager reports to Senior Technical Services Manager, and reporting to the OCC Duty Manager on daily operational matters. 

Responsibilities:

The AOG Desk Manager is responsible for:

  • Communication and coordination of Maintenance Providers, Maintenance Control Center, Planners, affected suppliers and other involved parties in the event of AOG in order to achieve the most efficient recovery of the aircraft
  • Procurement of urgently needed aircraft spare parts incl. placing Purchase-, Repair-, Loan- and Exchange Orders
  • Arranging, tracing and tracking of ongoing shipments worldwide
  • Arranging the delivery of parts from the main base to other stations
  • Coordination of case to case logistic activities worldwide
  • Ensuring the availability of material for open Work Orders, especially for MEL (Minimum Equipment List) related requests
  • Monitoring of Loan- and Exchange events
  • Participate on production meetings and representing the Supply Tea
  • Report the status of deliveries in a continuous manner to all involved departments

requirements:

  • Relevant University Degree
  • Fluent English knowledge
  • 2-5 years of experience in logistics or procurement
  • Ability of analytical and cost-conscious thinking and dealing
  • Self-motivation, flexibility and reliability
  • Good computing knowledge (MS Office)
