  • Leads the team responsible for delivering Flight Operations support, consultation, training, procedures, limitations, and documentation ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant operations of Boeing airplanes worldwide
  • Collaborates with BT&E, airplane programs, and the delivery centers (including China) to ensure on-time support of airplane deliveries (including whitetails) with first-pass quality
  • Drives a positive safety culture and leads local implementation of SMS while also supporting larger Enterprise Safety efforts including GASI, AOEP, etc.
  • Responsible for airplane programs for both advocating for the customer and meeting delivery and certification commitments, integrating new requirements from regulators, ACSA, and customers
  • Ensures strong integration, engagement, and alignment with the BCA Flight Operations community including BT&E, Fight Deck Engineering, T&PS, BGS Digitial Aviation, and others
  • Partners with the FAA, regulatory administration, and BCA flight operations to define the future regulations around pilot procedures and airplane documentation required by the pilots
  • Provides situational awareness of fleet issues and enables proactive support and drives learnings into requirements for the next new airplane program
  • Partners with Digital Aviation to develop, own, and execute on a roadmap for the next generation of Airplane Performance analysis tools and supporting data
  • Advances development of the technology roadmap for addressing tech debt and creation of modernized and unified multi-functional authoring, assembly, publishing, and delivery tools for operational data
  • Drives standardization (cross-model, cross-product) of engineering (and other) change consumption and verification processes to ensure Flight Operations considerations are captured and accounted for (including F-DOT and SaCR)
  • Responsible for written/published Flight Operations communications to the fleet (OMB, FOTB, FTD, MOM, WingTips, others)
  • Leads continuation and expansion of Flight Operations customer engagement and communication forums (Conferences, Working Together Teams, Regional Conferences, etc)
  • Represents and/or ensures representation of and leadership by TBC in industry and regulatory forums related to Flight Operations as well as Customer Engagements (ERMs, TRMs, etc)
  • Leads the development of modernization of training and consulting capabilities (performance, ETOPS, dispatcher, W&B, etc) considering the changing needs and learning methods of our customers
  • Partners with Enterprise skill teams (Flight Engineering and Product Support) to identify skill gaps, ensure training and development, and maintain a strong workforce pipeline into the future
  • Integrates with BT&E and Customer Support to define and implement our future support model in the Flight Operations space (including international and FOR)
