Job Description

The successful candidate will join the Flight Operations Training & Standards, Safety & Ground Training department in SIA Flight Operations Division. He/She will conduct Safety & Emergency Procedures (SEP) and Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR) courses for Pilots and Cabin Crew of SIA (and / or other operator or organization as decided by the Company).

These courses include:

– SEP Initial
– SEP Aircraft Type
– SEP Recurrent
– DGR Initial
– DGR Recurrent

Key Responsibilities include:

– Conduct SEP courses for Pilots and Cabin Crew of SIA and any other operator as decided by the Company.

– Conduct DGR courses for Pilots and Cabin Crew of SIA and any other operator as decided by the Company.

– Prepare SEP and DGR training materials, training aids, assessment forms and test questionnaires.

 – Perform any other duties as assigned, including but not limited to, office administrative duties and safety training facilities duties.

Requirements

– A diploma in any discipline is preferred.

– Interested applicants should have a minimum of 3 years experience as a crew member or previous experience as a safety training instructor. The experience should be acquired within the last 5 years from the date of application.

– Applicants with training and checking experience preferred.

– Applicants should have the required competencies in demonstrating and conducting physical activities like slide jumping, jumping into a swimming pool, boarding of a slide-raft from the pool and firefighting.

– Applicants must have a good command of spoken and written English and be able to communicate effectively.
