Job Description Summary

The Technical Records Officer shall be mainly responsible to process, update, produce and maintain accurate engine/module/EMU maintenance records to meet company, aviation authorities, and customers’ requirements.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Review customer data and liaise with the Customer Team to resolve any discrepancy in the data provided in relation to the engine/module/EMU scheduled for induction.
  • Update relevant data into OASIS and monitor for errors. Proceed to release the data within OASIS to allow for the next steps of induction of the respective engine/module/EMU.
  • Update PN/SN/TSN/CSN/TSO/CSO data in OASIS based on part disposition findings arising from the production team and upon confirmation by the Customer Team.
  • Prepare engine documentation that may include LLP Listing, Tracked Parts Listing, Service Bulletin Listing, EMU Listing, and DICA/DR Listing to be included in the engine release package. In preparation for these documents, review relevant data in OASIS for the discrepancy and liaise with respective sections for resolution.
  • Vet through the various hard copy or digital documentation for the respective engine/module/EMU received by Technical Records Section from production areas, for any discrepancies or errors and liaise with respective sections for resolution.
  • Compile various documents that may include ARC, AD Listing, Shop Visit report, other relevant maintenance records, and quality documents to produce engine release package prior to engine/module/EMU shipment.
  • Maintain and update scanned/soft copies of the engine release package in the designated digital storage location.
  • Produce scanned/soft copies of ‘Dirty Finger-Print’ maintenance records and other related quality documents and also by triggering Task/Job action in OASIS. These documents shall be complied, indexed, and filed accordingly in a designated digital storage location
  • Ensure that engine release package hard copies are archived accordingly.
  • Practice 5‘S’ as provided by the 5’S’ Framework applicable to Technical Records Office and Archive areas.
  • Participate in the ‘Lean’ initiative and comply with Technical Records Gate 1, 2, 3, and 4 Standard Work and relevant VSM.
  • Support any remedial actions in relation to documentation errors as assigned by Team Leader.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Diploma in Aviation Maintenance or other related technical field or 3 years of technical work experience in an MRO environment.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English and local languages.
  • Skillful in MS applications (Word, Excel).
