Job Description

The successful candidate will be part of the Global Baggage Operations, Airport Operations Department, in the Customer Services & Operations Division. He/she will be responsible for the delivery of key baggage related digital initiatives, data driven decision making and operational policy formulation.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Improving baggage handling journey via data analytics
  • Utilise baggage data infrastructure to support data analytics use cases
  • Acting as the product owner for the development of new digital products related to baggage status update and service recovery
  • Baggage related policy review/setting
  • Baggage handling performance monitoring with case management tool, setting and monitor of KPI targets for stations / SIN Hub
  • Monthly reporting of baggage handling performance, digital outcome measurement and project updates
  • Baggage finance budgeting and accruals, analysis and forecasting
  • Oversee with the team the training material and manuals for baggage staff across the network
  • Work with Overseas Stations and Procurement Department on related agreements with airports and ground handlers across the network
  • Represent SIA at international airline forums/organisations on policy/development/workshops related to baggage

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in any fields (business/economics related and quantitative disciplines preferred)
  • Experience in aviation/operations
  • Experience in data analytics preferred
  • Experience in project management/development preferred
  • Data analysis and data manipulation skills preferred
  • Ability to quickly pick up new tools/systems and techniques
  • Good problem solving/analytical skills
  • Good project management and communication (oral and written) skills
