Aircraft Maintenance Technician

Reports To

Licence Aircraft Engineer

Role Purpose

To undertake the servicing, maintenance, and technical handling of aircraft in accordance with company and CAAM-approved methods and procedures

Key Responsibility

  • To perform ground technical handling, routine, and non-routine maintenance and servicing check, and any other maintenance activities as required on the aircraft
  • To assist Licensed Aircraft Engineer to perform maintenance activities through efficient retrieval/interpretation of aircraft maintenance documents and interphase with the system in raising paperwork, clocking manhours, and ordering spares.
  • To ensure the tasks given are completed within the time frame and to inform the immediate superior of any problem or difficulties
  • To have a clear understanding of regulations and policy governing the maintenance of aircraft at the Base Maintenance & Workshop Department.
  • To prepare the accident/incident and/or occurrence report of any accident/incident and submit the report to the immediate superior.

Qualification & Experience

  • Diploma in Aircraft Engineering
  • Others – Basic Engineering (Mechanical & Avionic) with a minimum of 3 years experience in the airline engineering industry and in the Part 145 environment.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Exceptional communication skills and display of mastery in functioning within a team-oriented setting.
  • Strong administrative skills and Microsoft office skills.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Familiarity with national authorities and the company’s regulatory requirements.
